Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Generali Group Switzerland have announced the launch of Generali Switzerland’s ‘MyGenerali’ digital customer portal to help with the ongoing transformation of the Group’s business model.
Generali Switzerland selected TCS as a strategic partner for its digital transformation program to support the creation of Generali’s cutting-edge platform for better customer engagement. This digital transformation focuses on an innovative new multi-channel customer portal and mobile app, developed and designed by TCS to the Group’s Mobile Hub standards.
TCS has designed and developed the ‘MyGenerali’ customer portal and app available on iOS, Android, and through a dedicated website, with a focus on easy on-boarding and login for all existing retail customers. The app allows Generali customers to view all their insurance policies at a glance as well as premiums and payments and also view claim notifications. It can effectively request quotations for new policies and save it for future use.
Generali Group’s transformation comes amid significant disruption in the insurance market, where the impact of digital technology – driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution – combined with increasing data regulation, and the rise of nimble Insurtech startups, are driving companies within the industry to update and modernise their IT structures in order to serve their customers effectively and stay competitive.
