Meerut: The city features advanced traffic management systems, including ATCS at 8 junctions, ANPR at 62 locations, RLVD at 31 locations, and Speed Violation systems at 7 locations. Public address systems, emergency call boxes, and 150 Wi-Fi access points are also installed, all managed from a centralized control room.
Saharanpur: An extensive surveillance system with around 1,000 cameras, including 17 ATCS, 63 RLVD, and 103 ANPR systems, has been deployed. Additional features include a Vehicle Management System (VMS), 200 km of optical fiber, AI-based video analytics, and citizen collaboration kiosks.
UPSRTC Transformation: NEC provides real-time bus tracking, passenger information systems, and a centralized command centre for 5,000 buses across 3,000 routes. The project includes 20 regional command centres, operating 40,000 trips daily and serving 16 lakh passengers.
Biometric Boarding (DigiYatra) in Varanasi: A facial recognition-based biometric solution at Varanasi airport has significantly reduced waiting times, with 80% average utilization, indicating strong user adoption. These technologies have greatly improved operational efficiency, particularly at Varanasi airport, where waiting times have been cut by more than half
