Google Launches Initiatives to Entice Start-ups with Cloud Credits

Google today launched two new initiatives to woo start-ups and enterprises to fuel its momentum in India. The new initiative for Google Apps will cover the fees for any business locked into an agreement with another provider until its contract runs out. The company will also chip in on some of the deployment costs to set companies up for business with one of the Google for Work partners. As per their estimates, this will help businesses with basic agreements to save up to 70% by switching to Google Apps for Work. Google also announced its plan to offer 1,000 Indian start-ups with upto $20,000 each in free credits for Google Cloud services starting in January 2016. This will help start-ups who are held back by lack of computing power to build and deploy their innovations.
