Cambium Networks has executed an agreement with Ingram Micro as a new distributor.
Under the agreement, Croatia-based Ingram Micro will distribute the full range of Cambium Networks’ products throughout Southeast Europe; including Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Ingram Micro’s primary customer base includes service providers and system integrators. Ingram is also expanding its Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) portfolio offering, serving the oil and gas, electro distribution and water utilities markets with Cambium Networks’ cnReach narrowband radio platform to address Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) backhaul applications.
“Cambium Networks is the ideal company for us to enter into this partnership with, as its network solutions align with our current wireless communications portfolio and will enable us to deliver more comprehensive connectivity solutions to both existing and new customers,” said Ana Blazinic, MD Croatia, at Ingram Micro.
“The ongoing support and expertise Cambium Networks gives its partners are also extremely valuable, and we look forward to expanding our customer base across the region and helping to connect those that are currently unconnected.”
Cambium Networks’ cnReach is a narrow-band wireless portfolio for the IIoT, with specific applications in connecting SCADA sensors and controls for the water, oil and gas, and utility markets.
The products leverage Cambium Networks’ strong point-to-point backhaul and point-to-multipoint distribution network heritage – combining a unique value proposition for both Value Added Resellers (VARs) and service providers in the fixed wireless access market.
