3Cloud, a leading Microsoft Azure consulting and managed services firm, has received the SOC 2 Type II attestation report and certification.
The SOC 2 Type II attestation report, issued by Plante Moran, an independent CPA firm, confirms that 3Cloud has met the standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Plante Moran tested the operational effectiveness of controls implemented by 3Cloud for the Trust Services Principles for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, and Confidentiality.
The successful certification further validates 3Cloud's strong commitment to the most rigorous security, confidentiality, availability, and processing integrity standards and procedures in the industry. 3Cloud offers trust-based services to its clients and the audit results attest that clients can be assured of their reliance on 3Cloud's controls.
"Our clients face increasing risk and liability for protecting their data – and one reason they choose Azure and 3Cloud is to increase their security posture. They need to know that we have thorough, multi-layered controls and processes in place to prioritize data protection," said Mike Rocco, CEO and co-founder of 3Cloud. "Current and prospective clients can be assured that maintaining the security and confidentiality of their data is our highest priority – and this attestation should give them confidence in their choice of 3Cloud for providing full lifecycle services on the Azure platform."
In addition to the SOC 2 Type II certification, 3Cloud holds Microsoft Gold Partner certifications in six different competencies including Cloud Platform, Datacenter, Application Development, Data Platform, Data Analytics, DevOps. The firm is also a Tier 1 Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and reseller of Azure services to its clients.
